Step-by-Step Guide to Start with Trézór®

1. Visit the Official Site: Trezor.io/Start

Make sure you are on the official Trezor website to avoid phishing scams. Only trust https://trezor.io/start.

2. Choose Your Device

Trezor offers two primary models:

• Trezor Model One
• Trezor Model T

Select your device to begin the setup process tailored to your hardware wallet.

3. Download Trezor Suite

You’ll be prompted to download Trezor Suite, the official desktop & web interface to:

• Manage coins and tokens
• Install firmware
• Send/receive transactions
• Monitor portfolio

Trezor Suite is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

4. Connect Your Trezor Device

Use the USB cable provided to connect your device to your computer. Trezor Suite will automatically recognize your device and prompt you to begin the initialization.

5. Install Firmware (if needed)

If this is your first time using your Trezor, it may come without firmware installed. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest secure firmware.

6. Create a New Wallet or Recover Existing One

You have two options:

• Create a New Wallet: Generate a new set of private keys secured by your device.
• Recover Wallet: Input your 12/18/24-word recovery phrase from a previous wallet.

Never share your recovery phrase. Trezor never asks for it online.

7. Backup Your Recovery Seed

You’ll be shown a 12, 18, or 24-word recovery seed. **Write it
